March is a time to celebrate the incredible impact women have made throughout history. During Women’s History Month, we honor the trailblazers who’ve paved the way for future generations of women to rise to the top in every field. It’s also an opportunity to reflect on the progress still needed, especially in male-dominated industries, where women remain a small percentage of the representation.

This year, we were thrilled to team up with Singular, Craftsman+, and Adikteev to cohost the Elevate Brunch: Women in Gaming & Tech – GDC Edition. The event brought together women leaders from across the industry to discuss the unique challenges and opportunities they face in tech, while fostering a dynamic community of inspiring voices. It sparked powerful conversations—read on for three key themes that emerged from these discussions.

Building a Supportive and Inclusive Community

The event emphasized the value of creating spaces where women in tech feel seen, heard, and empowered. In an industry where women are often underrepresented, gatherings like these are not just meaningful—they’re transformative. By coming together to share experiences, offer support, and champion each other’s growth, women can shift from feeling like outsiders to realizing their full potential. When women advocate for one another and are generous with their time and encouragement, it not only fuels individual success but also helps drive lasting impact across the industry.

Transforming Adversity Into Opportunity

Resilience stood out as a key strength, highlighting how adversity can become a catalyst for growth and transformation. Women leaders consistently show their ability to face challenges head-on, turning them into opportunities to lead with purpose and drive meaningful change. It's through this mindset that setbacks become stepping stones toward success.

The Power of Imagining Better Versions of Ourselves

Perhaps the most striking insight from the event was the idea of envisioning yourself as greater than you are today. This straightforward yet powerful concept encourages women to look beyond their present situation and picture their fullest potential. It’s about overcoming self-doubt and embracing bold ambitions—a perspective that fuels personal growth and inspires others to dream bigger and reach higher.

Moving Forward Together

As Women’s History Month comes to a close, it's clear the future is bright for women in leadership. Events like this build platforms for sharing stories, exchanging insights, and championing each other’s success while cultivating a community of empowerment.

A special thank you to Susan Kuo, COO & Co-founder at Singular, Nancy Roberts, President at CRAFTSMAN+, Alex Ivachef, Head of Business Development at Adikteev, and Beth Berger, VP of Moloco Ads for your inspiring contributions to this event and community.
