Pixel Federation grew Moloco ad revenue 74% after integrating the Moloco SDK

Pixel Federation has been making games people love for nearly two decades. Founded in Bratislava in 2007, the studio behind TrainStation 2, Diggy's Adventure, and Seaport has grown to more than 140 million lifetime players across mobile, web, and Facebook. With a portfolio of long-lifecycle free-to-play titles, their monetization strategy has always mattered. Games that stay relevant for years need revenue models that hold up just as long.

The challenge: hitting KPIs at scale across a diverse portfolio

Running a multi-title studio means each game has its own player base, retention curve, and monetization profile. Pixel Federation needed an ad monetization partner that could help them perform consistently across a diverse portfolio, from a train logistics simulator to a puzzle adventure game, while hitting their defined eCPM targets that made the in-app advertising side of their business a reliable revenue line.

The solution: Moloco SDK rolled out title by title

Pixel Federation began integrating the Moloco SDK in June 2025, starting with their core Android titles. The Moloco team worked closely with Pixel Federation throughout the ramp-up to help them optimize performance as the integration scaled.

As early titles showed positive results, Pixel Federation expanded the integration further: TrainStation 2, Diggy's Adventure, Puzzle Adventure, TrainStation Classic, TrainStation 3, Port City, and Seaport all implemented the SDK over the following months. Pixel Federation used A/B testing to validate performance on each title before integrating the SDK on the next.

Their results: Moloco ad revenue grows consistently across the portfolio

Total average daily Moloco ad revenue across Pixel Federation’s portfolio grew 74% compared to the pre-integration period when Pixel Federation was monetizing with Moloco through programmatic exchanges alone (mid-January through mid-June 2025). Across the post-integration period (mid-June 2025 through mid-June 2026), peak periods resulted in more than three times the Moloco ad revenue delivered to Pixel Federation compared to the pre-integration baseline.

Moloco-driven CPM also improved significantly across the same period, with the weighted average CPM rising approximately 59%.

“We've seen consistent Moloco ad revenue growth across our portfolio since integrating the Moloco SDK. Having a partner that performs reliably across titles as different as TrainStation 2 and Diggy's Adventure, and delivers that kind of revenue growth at scale, is exactly what we needed."
 — Juraj Hajnala, Monetization Manager at Pixel Federation
