Moloco SDK Turns One: Tracking a Year of Acceleration and Impact

One year ago, Moloco launched its In-App Bidding SDK, marking a major milestone in helping publishers unlock more revenue through direct access to Moloco’s high-performing advertiser demand. Fast forward to today, and the momentum has only grown stronger.

A Year of Rapid Growth and Adoption

Since launch, approx 500 publishers have integrated the Moloco SDK, with top publishers such as Voodoo, CrazyMaple and AudioMack and many more joining the network. The SDK is now powering monetization for apps across gaming, lifestyle, utility, and finance categories—with a common goal: maximize ad revenue without sacrificing user experience.

Now Certified by Google AdMob and Google Ad Manager

As of July 2025, the Moloco SDK is officially certified by Google AdMob and Google Ad Manager, in addition to Max and LevelPlay, ensuring full compatibility with four of the most widely used platforms in mobile advertising. This certification reinforces Moloco’s commitment to performance, reliability, and integration—while giving publishers integrated with Google seamless access to Moloco’s demand.

Powerful Updates and Performance Wins

Over the past year, we’ve released a series of SDK updates designed to improve performance, reliability, and monetization outcomes for our partners. Here are some of the most impactful enhancements to date:

  • November 2024: Smarter Bid Token Generation (v3.4.0)
    Increased ad load success rates by resolving bid token generation issues—bringing error rates down from ~40% to under 1% on iOS, and from 10% to 3.5% on Android. With fewer errors, Moloco SDK captures more bidding opportunities, leading to higher fill rates and incremental revenue for publishers.

  • December 2024: Skip-Timer for Rewarded Video (v3.5.0)
    Introduced a new skip-timer feature for rewarded video ads. Early adopters have seen an 8% lift in ROAS, driven by improved user engagement and viewing completion rates.
  • February 2025: Faster Ad Loading with Improved Caching (v3.7.0)
    This update introduced smarter ad caching to the SDK, leading to significant performance improvements. With faster ad load times and an improved user experience, publishers saw measurable gains in SOV (Share of Voice)—increasing by up to 10% in some cases.
  • March, 2025: In-house mediation support
    Moloco SDK now supports in-house mediation for greater flexibility and control

  • April 2025, v3.9.0 – Enhanced Playables UX
    Version 3.9.0 introduced a change to mute playables by default until the user interacts—creating a more user-friendly and compliant ad experience. 
  • May 2025: Native Ads support (v.3.10.0)
    Moloco SDK includes support for native ads which covers 7% of Moloco’s advertiser spend, unlocking new demand for publishers

Each version has brought us closer to our goal: delivering a high-performing, transparent SDK that adapts to publisher needs and drives real results.

Now Fully Self-Serve 

In tandem with certification and performance improvements, Moloco has made its SDK fully self-serve—giving publishers the freedom to onboard, integrate, and launch on their own timeline. Through a simple setup flow, publishers can now connect directly with approximately $2B in advertiser demand, without any hidden platform or intermediary fees.
